Sales/First-party starter playbook

Weekly pipeline review

Every Monday, show where the HubSpot pipeline moved, what is stuck, and what is likely to close.

// what it does
  1. 01Pull the pipeline. Search HubSpot for open deals in the configured pipeline with stage, amount, owner, close date, create date, and last activity date, plus deals closed won or lost in the last 7 days.
  2. 02Measure movement. Count deals and value that entered, advanced, slipped back, closed won, and closed lost in the last 7 days, by stage.
  3. 03Find what is stuck. Flag open deals that have spent longer than the expected days in their stage, deals with no activity in 14 days, and deals whose close date has already passed. List the owner and the last recorded activity for each.
  4. 04Build the forecast view. Group open deals closing this quarter into commit (late stage, recent activity, close date this quarter), best case, and at risk, using only stage, activity, and close-date evidence. Show the totals next to the quarter's target.
  5. 05Post the review. Send one Slack message: the week's movement, the forecast table, the stuck deals by owner, and the three deals most worth a conversation this week, each linked to its HubSpot record.
// guardrails in the draft

Every figure comes from HubSpot. Show counts and totals; never extrapolate a win rate or a close date the data does not support.

Do not change stages, amounts, close dates, or owners. This agent reports; the team decides.

Call out data quality problems (missing amounts, close dates in the past, deals with no owner) as their own list rather than silently excluding those deals.

Name owners only in the context of their deals, never as a ranking of people.
