Terms of Service

Last updated · June 3, 2026 · v1.0
The short version

Use Boring lawfully. You configure your agents and set their approval gates, so you're responsible for the actions they take in your connected tools. During early access the service is provided as-is, and either of us can end the relationship at any time.

01

The service

Boring provides AI agents that plan and take actions across the tools you connect. Features, limits, and availability may change, and early-access or design-partner terms may apply to your workspace.

02

Your account

  • ·You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account.
  • ·You must be at least 18 and, if using Boring for an organization, authorized to bind it to these terms.
03

Acceptable use

Don't use Boring to:

  • ·break the law, infringe others' rights, or send spam or malicious content;
  • ·attack, probe, or disrupt the service except as allowed by our disclosure policy, or circumvent limits and access controls;
  • ·drive agents to violate the terms of the third-party tools they connect to.
04

Agents & automated actions

This is the important one:

  • ·you decide what each agent does, which tools it can use, and which steps require your approval;
  • ·you are responsible for the actions your agents take in your connected tools, including anything you approve;
  • ·we provide the runtime and controls, but we aren't liable for outcomes of automated actions you configured and authorized.
05

Fees

Early access may be free or discounted for design partners. Paid plans are billed as described at purchase; fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and taxes are your responsibility.

06

Intellectual property

  • ·We own the service, software, and brand. You own the content you provide and the outputs your agents produce for you.
  • ·You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and improve the service.
07

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind — especially during early access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

08

Termination

You may stop using Boring at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. On termination, your access ends and your data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

09

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We may update them with notice posted here; continued use means you accept the changes. Questions? legal@boringaico.com.
